Hey guys, just a reminder, Gateway's FBR IndyCar race is tonight!

In practice so far, the mismatched 1.25-mile oval has shown that it's going to be a challenge for all involved. Turns 1 and 2 require moderate use of the brakes as well as a ton of judgement and reserve getting off of turn 2. It's really easy to push into the outside wall HARD, and at the same time, it's also easy to loop the car if you're not careful. The tires will completely change over the course of a run, and they get a LOT looser, so I highly advise practicing tire conservation and putting full fuel runs in during practice.. trust me, it'll make a difference.

I'd also like to give you guys a heads up that entering and exiting the pits is going to be extremely difficult due to the fact that the car struggles to grip the cooldown and warmup lanes. There is also a wall in between pit road and the racetrack, so keep this in mind when you guys are coming in during the race *cough*JASON*cough* Very Happy

All in all, Gateway is a ton of fun to drive, and I think it will be a nice departure from the pack racing we've been seeing on the ovals before we go to Michigan next week. I think we'll see a really good race. Smile

Good luck in practice guys, and if anyone has any questions, you know where to reach me. Very Happy

- Marco

See Im not the only one that has a problem with those pit walls jumping out in front of my car. I thnk those walls got something against people that drive Dodges. So I bought a Jack hammer and Im off to Pocono to take car of that wall.... Hope I make it back in time to race. LOL
